1999 Toyota Hiace Campervan in excellent order (3 previous owners). 53000 genuine miles with MOTs to prove. Quick, comfortable and reliable – 2.7 petrol engine. Taxed til end of May – MOT June 21st 2010. Full service history and all documentation in original dealer’s wallet. 2 sets of keys, Hornet Thatcham approved alarm with 2 fobs.

Full camper conversion including the following: rock and roll bed, leisure battery, 240 volt power inverter, sink with electric pump for running water, gas hob and grill, captain’s chair, table, tow bar with electric hook-up, coolbox, new and unused portaloo. Set of Halfords roof bars virtually unused.

Also has Rockford Fosgate powerful stereo system which sounds amazing with iPod connection.

Power steering, electric windows, electric remote central locking and alarm/immobiliser. Drives like a dream – very simple (similar to a large car in feel). Easy to park. Insulated, sound-proofed and extremely quiet. Kitted out with Toyota 4×4 wheels and excellent tyres. Quick on the motorway, pulls extremely well. Leave VWs behind!

The bodywork is in rust-free condition. There are some minor marks due to wear and tear but nothing serious. In much better condition than a VW of this age as it is Japanese and therefore extremely reliable. All the electrics work and everything is in good order.

Perfect van for festivals, camping, wild camping and day-to-day use. Good surf bus perhaps? Grab yourself a bargain for the season.
